Five arboreal lords of terraqueous majesty,
Stimulating our senses.
Witness we bare to their material festival.

Five of the sky.
Transcendent, spiritual, incorporeal,
To the thriving slaves obtainable,
Their unearthly branches encircle a realm which flesh shall ne'er comprehend,
But its marvels eidolons attain.

We are attentive to them,
Cognizant of them,
Offering sacrifices aplenty we are dutiful to them,
To two worlds,
Diametrically opposed we are aligned for good or ill.

Dominion they hold o'er the orchards viridian,
The barren satellites ashen and austere,
The nitid constellations,
Our rivers shimmering as though they were composed of amethysts.

The deities of Terra with their hosts of aged branches,
The faceless gods of heaven with their omnipresent branches.
They sought. We strive. Our seed shall soon endeavour,
To celebrate and unify with both.
